A cup of ☕️ and a 🍫 snack anyone? ⁣ The temptation to nibble when you are confined sucks🥴⁣ Here are a few tips that work for me:⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ Don’t use the fridge as your break from the screen, take a short walk⁣ 2️⃣ Don’t buy treats for the house, bake healthy ones (see yummy banana bread and protein balls recipes)⁣ 3️⃣ Eat some fruit - if you don’t like eating fruit, make a smoothie⁣ 4️⃣Use a measurable container with nuts, raisins and sunflower seeds mix to snack on as you work. **Sorry for the long post** With all this craziness you learn to appreciate all you have in your life. 6 months ago I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy and was told recovery could be anywhere from 4 months to a year with some symptoms not recovering at all. Well it's been 6 months and im so very grateful for the progress that's been made. I have regained my hearing, vision has improved greatly, being able to close my eye has improved, eating has gotten easier and most of the movement in my lips and mouth have improved. Still have some recovery time ahead but as I said, I'm so very grateful for all the progress. So many thanks to all my friends and family that have continued to check up on me and keep me in their prayers.
