Many people think of it as a beginner excercise, however it can be made more challenging with a few variations. - Try these variations and it will certainly make the excercise harder. - Workout 1: regular plank - hold for 1 minute while engaging the core. Do not lift your butt up as that will take the tension off your core. What I do on my days off aside from try to keep playing hockey. We as chiropractors don’t only try to keep you clicking and performing your best in all aspects of life, we’ve got to put in the work to try and walk the walk. I’m not perfect but I try to work on all the little things I talk to clients about regularly. First, this is my fourth working set here. Form was good but not perfect. You can see it degrade here. I wouldn’t have known that if I hadn’t asked someone to film my set here. I was supposed to do two more sets. I dropped the weight a bit and only did one more. I did that to protect myself and well as keep the form consistent. Second, before any of this lifting I did something I encourage everyone to do, and trust me for a long time I wasn’t great at it either. Warm up!!! Cycle, jog; stairs whatever. Get the blood flowing. After that I spent ten minutes mobilizing my ankles and hips. Massive difference. I’ve been a chiropractor for almost 4 years now, and I’ve been an athlete my whole life! We tend to suck at following those instructions. Even elite athletes struggle to do it unless made to by their program sometimes. But the benefits will be huge! Look at it as performance enhancement if you have to! Third, getting here, moving forward from here is a process. Everyone’s process starts at different points. Whether it’s injury recovery, chronic injury management, performance improvement or anything you want to do better and more efficiently understand it’s a process! Anyway just wanted to share a glimpse of what my process currently looks like, feel free to ask any questions and share comments. Especially those of my friends who are fitness professionals. Фрагмент тренировки бицепса 💪 Сгибание рук в кроссовере с верхних блоков – изолирующее упражнение, направленное на проработку двуглавой мышцы.  Данное упражнение используют в основном для завершения тренинга бицепса или в качестве разминки в начале тренировки, с небольшим весом на 15 — 25 повторений. Основные фишки 1. Локти должны смотреть строго в стороны. Если будете выводить их вперёд (а такой соблазн появляется когда заканчиваются силы), то включаться в работу будет уже грудь. 2. Если делать это упражнение не стоя а сидя, то плечи окажутся значительнее ниже блока. Это значит что руки будут смотреть в стороны и вверх, и бицепсы будут сильнее сокращаться. 3. При выпрямлении рук если хотите сильнее растянуть бицепсы, то можно кисть поворачивать ладонью вперёд (и даже ладонью вниз). И руки желательно разгибать до конца. 4. Это упражнение можно так же делать одной рукой.
