As a bartender for over 7 years and a new business owner, I will be honest and say that this pandemic hit a little hard financially and mentally, being motivated to continue to be productive with my event planning business. As a blessing, my company where I bartend has been more than supportive during this process. At the same, now what do I?
As for event planning goes, I had just launched a few weeks before COVID-19 and was just starting to get into things, working on gaining potential clients. Then that all stopped.
Over the last few weeks I watched IG live channels and read up on individuals/companies with similar small businesses concerns and solutions. I’ve learned during this time, it’s all about adjusting to the problem and finding a solution that will work specifically for you and/or your brand.
With that being said, even though I may not be able to help someone physically plan an event or make a cocktail, I still want to help others like me who need further assistance.
I did my research and came up with a list of resources for restaurant workers and small business owners who need the extra support. You can check these out on my website in the COVID-19 Resource Hub section (link in bio).
Please please please share on your pages/stories or anyone who you know may need the support but just don’t know where to start. I will be updating the page weekly as new funding programs become available.
A special THANK YOU to all companies/programs putting in the work to make a difference! If willing, donations to these funds are appreciated.
Don’t be discouraged, we all got this!
Keep working + stay positive! 🤍
